The Young Chang Legacy
In 1956 the three Kim brothers, Jai-Young, Jai Chang, and Jai-Sup, founded Young Chang initiating a new era of modern piano manufacturing. Dedication to the idea of perfection has won Young Chang admiration throughout the world. Young Chang has accumulated numerous awards for excellence at prestigious events in Germany, Switzerland, Spain and around the globe including the International Trophy for Technology at the Frankfurt Music Fair. Young Chang pianos have also received "best buy" ratings from consumer magazines in use and in Europe. They were the first Korean piano manufacturer to receive the coveted Japanese Industrial Standard. Young Chang became the first piano company to receive the prestigious ISO 9001 certification, which recognized their manufacturing and design excellence.
